Refreshed in 2024 with a new turbocharged engine and upgraded interior, the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport continue into 2026 with expanded convenience features. Both models now offer five trims each. Starting with the SE w/ Technology trim, all models include a factory-installed HomeLink® mirror.

Engine enhancements include a larger turbocharger, stronger internals (pistons, rods, and crankshaft), variable valve lift on both intake and exhaust sides, and increased fuel injection pressure up to 7,252 psi. These upgrades help deliver not just raw power, but also improved throttle response and overall efficiency. The engine continues to use Miller-cycle technology for optimized fuel economy and runs on regular gasoline.

Following the 2025 model year facelift, the Golf GTI and Golf R return with enhanced performance and styling. Golf R models also received a power increase and now offer a new Graphite Gray Metallic paint option. The Euro Style Package remains available.

The ID.4 remains a standout in the EV segment, carrying forward the major enhancements introduced in 2024. These include a new rear electric motor, increased power—282 hp for rear-wheel drive and 335 hp for all-wheel drive—and an EPA-estimated range of 291 miles for the ID.4 Pro RWD model.

The ID. Buzz, Volkswagen’s electric reimagining of the classic Microbus, made its debut in 2025. More information about the 2026 model will be released later this year.

The Jetta lineup, refreshed for 2025, carries over into 2026 with subtle but meaningful improvements. All models now include standard rear-seat pretensioners. The SE trim gains a sunroof, while SEL and GLI Autobahn trims receive a premium eight-speaker Volkswagen audio system. GLI Autobahn models also now feature push-button steering wheel controls.

The Taos compact SUV continues to build on its 2025 refresh with smart upgrades. For 2026, all trims now include standard rear-seat pretensioners. Wireless charging is upgraded to 15W as a mid-model-year update, and SEL models now come equipped with an eight-speaker premium audio system.

Now in its third generation, the Tiguan continues to evolve with the addition of a new SEL R-Line Turbo trim, powered by a 268-hp 2.0-liter EA888 evo5 engine. Across all trims, the Tiguan now features an updated Travel Assist system that includes Assisted Lane Change functionality.
